Mind Map Overview

Mind Map is similar to Cards in that it is an outlining tool that allows you to see a zoomed-out view of your content. However, it has the additional capability of arranging and connecting cards in whatever way you need! Create a map of how the story exists in your mind. Organize character, locations, dates/times, and more!

If you are viewing a script in Mind Map, each scene will be organized into a card. You can also use Mind Map for other content such as character descriptions, beat breakdowns, world-building, and more.

Open Mind Map

This mode contains the same content as the Page view and Cards Mode of the same document. Move cards in Mind Map does not change the order of content in the script (Page view).

  1. From the editing area menu just above the page, select the mode drop-down.
