Cards Widget & View

View your script or content like notecards. For a script, each scene is a separate card. The content in your cards is identical to what you see in the Page view. Any edits made to cards will be visible in the Page view of the document.

*Note: Cards cannot be edited or rearranged in the mobile app or on mobile/tablet device web browsers. To get the most out of this feature, we recommend using a computer.

Cards Overview

Cards are an outlining tool that allows you to see a zoomed-out view of your content. They are simply an alternate way of viewing any document in your project. If you are working on a script, each scene will be organized into a card. You can also use Cards for other content such as character descriptions, beat breakdowns, and more.

Cards will be organized differently based on your template. For example, in the Notes template each 'section' is a card, and in the Graphic Novel template, each 'page' is a card.

Cards can be viewed in the Cards Widget alongside the document it corresponds to or in Cards View, a full-screen display of the contents. The Cards Widget & View behave very similarly. All of the following actions are available in the Cards Widget and the Cards View.

  • In the Widget, options will be found under the three dots to the right of the widget header

  • In the View, Options will be found in the drop-down above the cards
