Delete Account

Permanently remove your account from the WriterDuet servers. All projects will be deleted along with the account. No content can be recovered.



Permanently Delete Your Account

This action CANNOT be undone.

If you are looking to cancel your paid subscription instead, see Manage Your Subscription.

  1. First, make sure to have backups of anything you'd like saved, as you will no longer be able to access any projects created with the account once it has been deleted.
    1. To easily export your entire Portfolio, see Export Your Portfolio.
  2. Select your Account icon
    1. Depending on your layout, your Account icon will be in the bottom lefthand or upper righthand corner of your screen.
  3. Select My Account
  4. Choose Delete Account at the bottom left of the window
  5. Confirm the action by typing the presented words
  6. Enter your password
  7. Share any feedback for why you are deleting your account
    1. Check or uncheck the box for "WriterDuet is permitted to contact you about your feedback"
  8. Select Delete
