Update Payment Information
Need to update the card on your subscription? Easily update your information from inside the app!
*Note: Updating your payment information cannot be completed in the iOS mobile app. To update your payment information, please log into your WriterDuet account via your device's web browser at www.writerduet.com/script.
Update Credit Card
- Select your Account icon
- Depending on your layout, your Account icon will be in the bottom lefthand or upper righthand corner of your screen.
- Select My Account
- Select Manage subscription
- Under Payment Method, select Add payment method
- Enter new card information
- Select Add
- As needed, delete the previous default payment method by clicking the "x" next to the old card.
Update Billing Information
- Select your Account icon
- Depending on your layout, your Account icon will be in the bottom lefthand or upper righthand corner of your screen.
- Select My Account
- Select Manage subscription
- Under Billing Information, select Update information
- Enter new billing information
- As needed, you can enter a Tax ID (e.g. VAT, TIN, etc.) by making a selection within the ID type drop-down and entering the ID number.
- Select Save
Note: If you don't see the Manage subscription option, you likely either don't have an active subscription or your subscription is with our payment processor, Paddle, which doesn't allow payment updates for existing subscriptions.
To work around this limitation, you will need to cancel your current subscription by clicking the three-dot icon next to the subscription in the My Account modal and choosing Cancel. Then, click the following link to resubscribe and enter your new card information: https://writerduet.com/script#_purchase
Please be assured that you'll still be able to access/edit your work while your subscription is canceled. All canceling does is limit your access to paid features until you re-subscribe.
